Seaport Terminal in Muuga

*

The terminal complex in Muuga port (Estonia) transships dry bulk fertilisers and is one of the most technologically advanced port terminals in Eastern and Northern Europe. The quay is 288 m long and 14.4 m deep, so the terminal can service vessels with displacement of up to 79,000 t.

Main Capacity of Terminal Complex

The terminal can transship 2.5 mtpa of dry cargo.

The terminal features the following types of covered warehouses:

  • One tent arch warehouse with capacity of up to 70,000 t where multiple types of fertilisers can be stored simultaneously
  • Eight air-proof and water-proof dome-shaped warehouses with total capacity of up to 122,000 t
  • Indoor and outdoor storages for packed cargo.

Total covered storage capacity is 192,000 t.

The terminal has capacity to produce bulk blends and pack the cargo into big bags.

Seaport Terminal in Sillamäe

*

The modern terminal complex in Sillamäe (Estonia) is designed to store and transship ammonia and liquid mineral fertilisers. Its key competitive advantages include favourable location in proximity to Russian fertiliser producers, cutting-edge high-tech equipment and the ability to service vessels with displacement of up to 65,000 tonnes year-round.

Main Capacity of Terminal Complex

Ammonia. The terminal has the design capacity to transship 1.5 mtpa of ammonia. Two ammonia reservoirs, each with capacity of 30,000 t, are located at the terminal. The ammonia transshipment complex was put into operation in 2009.

UAN. The terminal can transship up to 1,85 mtpa of UAN and features four UAN reservoirs with capacity of 20,000 t each. The UAN transshipment complex was put into operation in 2008.
