Acron Group has released a Sustainable Development Report (ESG Report) in Russian for 2022, the Company’s first non-financial report.
In 2022, Acron adopted a proactive approach to sustainable management and developed a new ESG strategy that reflects the Company’s priorities in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, protecting the environment, promoting good working conditions and occupational safety, the social and economic development of the footprint regions and best corporate practices. In addition, Acron conducted a comprehensive assessment of its current ESG practices and prepared a detailed roadmap to improve management practices and ensure effective disclosure of ESG information over the next few years.
Alexander Popov, Chairman of Acron’s Board of Directors, said, ‘Acron Group continued to implement environmental and social projects to promote sustainable development. It invested RUB 2.7 billion in ESG efforts, an increase of 18 % over the previous year. I am confident that this positive trend will continue in the future.’
