Acron Expands Partnership with Leading Engineering School in Veliky Novgorod

Veliky Novgorod-based Acron has been actively expanding partnership with the Leading Engineering School (LES) at the Yaroslav-the-Wise Novgorod State University.

In 2022, Acron and LES executed a three-year agreement for annual allocations worth RUB 100 million to finance LES projects.

LES designs new automation systems, field devices, software, and data collection and analysis tools for Acron.

Engaging qualified personnel is another goal Acron achieves in cooperation with LES. In 2022, eight LES students received practical training at Acron. In 2023, LES will offer a ‘Chemical Technology’ proactive programme to train engineering personnel for Acron.

Andrey Kolosovsky, General Director of Acron Engineering Research and Design Centre (a member of Acron Group), emphasised that personnel shortages boost demand for highly skilled engineers among industrial companies. ‘This is a pressing concern for Acron. Novgorod-based LES will help us address this issue and train employees qualified in automated chemical production operations’.
