In the ‘2025 Flagships of Business: Dynamics, Responsibility and Sustainability’ national competition, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RUIE) awarded Acron a diploma for ESG development. Dorogobuzh, a member of Acron Group, was also honoured for its contribution to the sustainable development of the region in which it operates.
In 2025, Dorogobuzh invested over RUB 440 million in constructing and upgrading several social facilities in Smolensk region, including the surgical and intensive care wards at Dorogobuzh district hospital, a sports and recreation centre, a public garden to mark the company’s 60th anniversary, and the Lastochka recreation centre.
The RUIE holds the ‘Flagships of Business: Dynamics, Responsibility and Sustainability’ competition annually to encourage sustainable business development in line with Russia’s long-term economic interests and to recognise rapidly developing companies based on their ESG performance. This year, 228 major Russian businesses applied to participate in the competition.
