Acron hosted the Our Hopes awards ceremony in Veliky Novgorod to recognise the winners and runners-up of the local stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren in chemistry, physics, mathematics, and computer science.
This is the 24th year that Acron has organised the awards ceremony in tandem with the Veliky Novgorod administration’s education committee to support promising employees and promote chemical and engineering professions.
During the event held at the Acron Cultural Centre under the motto 'The Finest Hour’, 262 high school and gymnasium students and 142 teachers and tutors received valuable prizes. The awards were presented by Acron’s young specialists and heads of divisions who know first-hand how important such support is for dedicated young people.
Olga Babina, Head of Acron’s HR Department, emphasised the importance of creating opportunities for students. ‘These young people have incredible potential, and I strongly encourage them to continue their scientific pursuits. They truly are an embodiment of hope—not only for parents and teachers, but also for potential employers. We will be delighted if they join Acron’s team in future’.
