On International Volunteer Day, celebrated globally in December, Acron Group reported on the performance of its corporate volunteering movement, DobroAcron.
From 2022 to 2025, Acron has organised more than 100 volunteer campaigns focusing on environment, education and awareness, health and sports, and social activism.
Volunteers from the DobroAcron movement organised cultural events in geriatric centres, donation drives, charity events for single mothers and older people on various holidays, visited retirement homes, cleaned up coastal areas and planted trees. As part of the project to help stray animals, the Group’s volunteers in its footprint regions provided support to animal shelters. In total, over 1,000 DobroAcron members collected more than 500 kg of various items for those in need, recycled more than 700 kg of waste and released approximately 400,000 fish fry.
The DobroAcron corporate volunteer movement, covering six regions where Acron Group operates, was established in 2022 to engage employees in projects of social significance and to promote volunteering.
