Acron supplies over one million tonnes of high-quality mineral fertilisers to Russian growers

During the first ten months of 2025, Acron Group, a Russian vertically integrated mineral fertiliser producer, sold over one million tonnes of mineral fertilisers to agricultural producers in more than 65 Russian regions.

‘Our top priority is to supply best mineral fertilisers to Russian growers’, said Alexander Lebedev, Acron’s Vice President for Domestic Business and Agricultural Projects, at the YUGAGRO 2025 agricultural trade show, taking place in Krasnodar on 18–21 November. ‘We have consistently expanded our NPK 16-16-16 sales in the domestic market this year. Additionally, our UAN sales have increased by a third, while our urea sales have surged fivefold’.

At the trade show, Acron is presenting its full range of mineral fertilisers, including grades suitable for all Russian soils and climates, NPKs with added nutrients and CALINKA, a premium calcium nitrate (CN) fertiliser. These fertilisers are particularly popular with growers.

The Company will also share the results of its trials on the effectiveness of CN and demonstrate its advantages for producers of greenhouse and open-field fruits and vegetables. Based on the trials conducted in 2024, CN reduced apple disease by 20% and increased the yield by 3.5 tonnes per hectare. Tomato yield was up 8% and top rot was down 15%. Acron plans to continue trials on CALINKA in 2026 to investigate its effectiveness for a wider array of crops.

Acron supports its key customers by offering agricultural training services aimed at enhancing their agronomic and economic performance. The Company launched its agribusiness support service three years ago, and has since expanded its geography to cover the entire Central Federal District. It has also introduced these services to its clients in the Volga Federal District. As a result, Acron’s customers have achieved 8–13% higher yields of spring rapeseed, winter wheat and silage maize, without increasing their direct expenditure on mineral fertilisers.

Acron Group owns the Agronova distribution network, which comprises nine agrochemical companies and ensures direct access to product consumers in Russia’s major farming regions. With a total warehouse capacity of 189,000 tonnes, Agronova’s units handle transportation, sales, and storage of mineral fertilisers.

We look forward to seeing you at Acron stand D3019 in Pavilion 4 at the YUGAGRO show.
