The second annual convention for youth council activists of Acron Group at its recreation centre in Novgorod region brought together 60 youth representatives from Acron, Dorogobuzh, NWPC, VPC, and Acron Engineering Research and Design Centre.
The two-day event offered the attendees an intensive programme focused on insights into the production process, networking, and enhancing project management skills. Under the guidance of an experienced business coach, young specialists developed project initiatives tackling important issues such as lean manufacturing, corporate volunteering, increasing youth engagement, and career guidance.
Olga Shestakova, Head of the Human Resources Department at Acron, noted, ‘Engaging with young professionals is a key priority of Acron Group’s HR policy, and we are committed to developing this area. Youth councils help us promptly identify the needs of young employees, involve them in corporate and production management processes, and effectively address the most pressing issues’.
The programme for the youth council activists also included a meeting with Alexey Makarov, Acron Group’s Vice President for Capital Construction, Production Development and Equipment Upgrades. He provided detailed answers to questions about the Group’s development, upcoming projects, and advanced production technologies. He also emphasised the importance of the youth movement, encouraging the young specialists to be proactive and resourceful and to remain part of the Group’s team.
