Dorogobuzh to allocate RUB 3.5 million for school renovations in Dorogobuzh district

Roman Dmitriev, Executive Director of Dorogobuzh (a member of Acron Group), and Konstantin Serenkov, Head of the Dorogobuzh Municipal District in Smolensk Region, have signed a social partnership agreement for 2025. The company’s funds will be used to repair pre-school and general secondary education institutions, as well as municipal housing in Dorogobuzh.

This year, Dorogobuzh will spend RUB 3.5 million on repairing the electrical network and porch of Secondary School No. 3 in Verkhnedneprovsky settlement, replacing windows at Kolokolchik kindergarten and buying modern playground equipment for Cheburashka kindergarten. Additionally, under the agreement, the company will cover the finishing costs for flats in a new apartment block intended for social workers in Dorogobuzh.

‘Implementing these projects will significantly improve school infrastructure and the living conditions of social workers. This agreement is a prime example of the effective collaboration between business and government in addressing social issues. It shows how we can combine resources and efforts to achieve mutual goals, such as improving the quality of life for local residents and promoting the district’s development. I would also like to acknowledge the substantial financial support and active involvement that Dorogobuzh, as the town-forming company, has provided to the municipality over many years. I am grateful to the company’s management for their support, which goes far beyond the scope of the agreement. I look forward to our continued close and fruitful cooperation’, said Mr Serenkov.

‘The partnership agreement that we have maintained with the municipality since 2017 is part of a wide-ranging programme of cooperation with the local executive authorities. In Dorogobuzh’s 60th anniversary year, over RUB 500 million was allocated for the repair and modernisation of various social facilities, with RUB 200 million earmarked for municipal institutions. This is an unprecedented amount for both the company and the district. Through our joint efforts, we will be able to improve the lives of Dorogobuzh residents, making them more interesting and comfortable’, emphasised Mr Dmitriev.
