Acron Group has implemented a digital procurement control system at its Dorogobuzh production site in Smolensk region, which automates the receipt, inspection and accounting of goods and materials procured by the Company.
Launched to speed up and improve the efficiency of procurement control of raw materials, equipment and other supplies, the system provides a single digital platform for better communication between all production units and automates the collection and analysis of procurement control data, ensuring that discrepancies are quickly identified and rectified without affecting the quality and efficiency of production processes.
Pavel Simakov, Deputy Executive Director and Chief Engineer at Dorogobuzh, said, ‘The newly implemented digital procurement control system improves production stability, reduces the risk of emergency shutdowns and, as a result, helps maintain high quality standards of the products’.
Denis Guzanov, Head of Acron Digital (LLC IT Office), said, ‘Acron’s IT team has been working on the system since 2022. The project is an integral part of our complex digital transformation efforts and steps to develop corporate information services. It adds to the list of production management subsystems integrated into Acron Group’s AIS ERP system to ensure a comprehensive approach to business management’.
