Dorogobuzh introduces mobile patrol for instrumentation and control

Dorogobuzh (a member of Acron Group) has completed the integration of the ‘Acron. Repair Service Patrol’ mobile patrol system into its instrumentation and control (I&C) service of the weak nitric acid shop to ensure time-efficient monitoring of production equipment.

The project was developed by Acron’s IT specialists in cooperation with the Leading Engineering School (LES) of Novgorod University as part of an integration solution for the development of corporate systems and is among priority IT projects of Acron Group.

The system is designed to expedite and facilitate day-to-day equipment maintenance work of I&C repair personnel. The solution provides automated transfer of collected data, its storage and processing in a unified system, and time-efficient control and analysis of equipment condition. Acron’s specialists have fully integrated the mobile patrol into the AIS ERP.

Denis Sushko, Dorogobuzh’s Chief Instrumentation Operator, said: ‘The mobile patrol automates the processes of recording the patrol results, monitoring the equipment condition and recording the detected defects in the work area, which helps effectively organise the work of the personnel, take time-efficient measures where defects occur, and prepare reports’.

Alexei Nikulochkin, Head of the Weak Nitric Acid Shop, added: ‘With the mobile patrol in place, we have systematised and streamlined technical maintenance of measuring instruments and can promptly eliminate detected defects’.

Initially, a mobile solution for time-efficient equipment monitoring was implemented in 2020 at the ammonia facilities of two Group companies: Acron in Veliky Novgorod and Dorogobuzh in Smolensk region.
