Acron Group, a leading mineral fertiliser producer in Russia and globally, has organised a series of seminars to present mineral nutrition solutions for the main crops in Vietnam.
During the seminars with distributors, Acron specialists presented the company, its advanced technology to produce NPK fertilisers and sustainable solutions for plant nutrition. They explained how Acron products are perfectly suited to Vietnam’s climate and soils and meet the needs of coffee, cashew, black pepper, durian, banana and citrus growers.
The seminars focused on the field trials that Acron has been conducting in Vietnam with the Solis and Fertilizer Institute (SFI) since 2018, to study the impact of Acron NPKs on twelve key vegetable and fruit crops. Acron nutrition system has proved to be highly effective for all crops. Compared to conventional farming practices, it has increased the yields of chilli peppers by 3 tonnes per hectare, of onions by more than 4 tonnes per hectare, and of bitter melons by more than 10 tonnes per hectare.
Importantly, all of Acron’s nutrition systems have been developed together with the SFI and approved by the Vietnamese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Dr Nguyen Duy Phuong, Head of SFI’s Agrochemical Department, also attended the seminars and spoke about the importance of a scientific approach.
Anna Dorofeeva, Head of Acron Group’s Marketing Department, said, ‘We are confident that such training initiatives will help strengthen partnership with distributors, support farmers and develop modern agricultural technology’.
Vietnam is a strategically important market for Acron, where it has been operating continuously since 2008 to ensure a reliable supply of fertilisers. In recent years, Acron has consistently increased its sales volumes. In 2024, the Group’s supplies to Southeast Asia soared, while exports to Vietnam, a key market in the region, have reached record-high levels for two consecutive years. Acron plans to maintain its presence in Vietnam, where it supplies more than five NPK grades, and to boost sales by offering a wide range of fertilisers.
