Acron (Veliky Novgorod) has won the inaugural Taxpayer of the Year competition for companies in Novgorod region.
The results of the competition were announced at a meeting of the Regional Investment Committee, chaired by Governor Alexander Dronov. Acron won the Taxpayer of the Year – Social Partner category in recognition of its contribution to the social and economic development of Novgorod region, as well as its strong record of tax compliance.
The expert panel assessed the participants against a range of performance criteria. The award recognised companies that demonstrated sustained growth across key performance indicators in 2025, including increase in tax contributions to the regional consolidated budget, as well as growth in employee numbers and average salaries.
Acron’s achievement demonstrates that it consistently meets its fiscal obligations and makes a significant contribution to budget revenues. It also systematically implements a wide range of social initiatives, supporting education, culture and sports, and improving the quality of life of local residents.
