As part of a charitable initiative, Acron Group has spent RUB 125 million upgrading the cardiac intensive care unit at the National Cardiac Research Centre named after Yevgeni Chazov, including purchasing new equipment.
The cardiac intensive care unit diagnoses critical heart diseases and provides care to patients experiencing cardiac emergencies. The unit treats patients with life-threatening heart conditions, providing them with immediate intensive care. The unit’s team also conducts cardiac research using the most advanced technologies and develops guidelines for regional healthcare facilities to identify and treat cardiac disorders.
‘Healthcare is a top priority for the Group’s charitable programmes’, said Alexander Popov, Chairman of Acron’s Board of Directors. ‘We have implemented numerous projects to enhance medical support, prevent disease and safeguard the health of our employees, their families and local residents in the regions where our companies operate’.

Acron Group has completed several major charitable healthcare projects. The Group spent RUB 143 million on the construction of a modern geriatric centre at the War Veterans Hospital in Veliky Novgorod, which opened in 2020. The project was initiated by Viatcheslav Kantor, a Veliky Novgorod Honorary Citizen. He also donated his personal funds to restore and upgrade the Malaya Vishera psychiatric and neurological care home, which had been severely damaged by fire.
Acron invested RUB 220 million in renovating and equipping the Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital in Veliky Novgorod. Thanks to the company’s support the hospital has two new units: a children’s oncology and haematology ward and a children’s rehabilitation ward. The company also renovated the Mishekurin Clinical Perinatal Centre and purchased additional equipment worth RUB 50 million.
Acron’s in-house healthcare facility provides care for more than 8,000 people in Veliky Novgorod. Over the last decade, the company has spent RUB 670 million on its maintenance and upgrades, more than doubling its capacity.
Dorogobuzh (a member of Acron Group) is sponsoring the overhaul of the Dorogobuzh Central District Hospital. The company has already invested RUB 125 million in the project.
