Vladimir Kunitsky, CEO of Dorogobuzh (a member of Acron Group), has given three young employees housing certificates and the keys to their new apartments in a modern residential building in the town of Dorogobuzh, Smolensk region.
Mr Kunitsky said, ‘Moving into your own home is a significant life milestone. We do our best to ensure that our young employees live in a comfortable environment, build their careers, and see their future with Dorogobuzh’.
Dorogobuzh purchased apartments for its employees in a new building in the Sportivny residential complex. It was constructed as part of a housing initiative led by the Smolensk regional government and supported by the Russian Ministry of Agriculture under the Integrated Development of Rural Areas programme.
The apartments are fully finished and equipped with up-to-date plumbing and gas heating. The new residential building is surrounded by landscaped grounds with a children’s play area. During the ceremony, Ilia Malashchenkov, Artur Akhmetshin and Alexander Sorokovoy were deeply moved. Their new apartments—two 65.4 m² two-bedroom apartments and one 42.2 m² one-bedroom apartment—are ready to move into. They are fully fitted with everything necessary for comfortable living, including custom-made interiors, furniture, and household appliances.
Artur Akhmetshin, a shift leader at the AN facility, started his career as a machine operator. He was included in the company’s talent pool after being promoted to section manager at the AN production facility and the magnesite extraction line of the nitric acid facility. Alexander Sorokovoy was recognised as the top vocational school graduate in Smolensk region in 2022. He joined Dorogobuzh five years ago as a lathe operator in the equipment repair workshop and has since progressed to become the foreman responsible for technological equipment repairs at the weak nitric acid facility. Ilia Malaschenkov, a power engineer at the fertiliser shipment facility, graduated with honours from the Smolensk branch of Moscow Power Engineering Institute. He completed a Dorogobuzh-sponsored targeted training programme on a scholarship. His wife, Tatiana, is a metrology engineer in the chief instrumentation engineer’s team of the procurement department. She was also a Dorogobuzh scholarship recipient. The couple noted that the company truly cares for its young employees: Dorogobuzh helps newcomers to adapt, develop and feel part of the team.
