Acron spends RUB 1.6 billion on occupational health and safety

Acron Group, a Russian vertically integrated producer of mineral fertilisers, makes considerable investments in occupational health and safety each year. In 2025, they totalled RUB 1.6 billion, up 21% year-on-year.

In the area of industrial safety, the Group’s priority is to ensure safe working conditions in the regions where it operates and to minimise risks associated with the production process. The Group recognises its responsibility for safeguarding the lives and health of its own employees and those of its contractors. All of the Group’s production facilities have adopted occupational health and safety policies to further improve the system of occupational health and safety management.

In 2025, Acron Group companies focused their occupational health and safety efforts on equipment diagnostics, ensuring that their employees could safely use the equipment and operate production processes. The Group also took measures to improve working conditions, protect the lives and health of its employees, reduce work-related injuries and occupational diseases, and mitigate work-related risks.

Acron Group is committed to preventing emergencies during its production operations. To this end, it continuously monitors the development of contingency plans for containing and eliminating emergencies. All of the Group’s hazardous production facilities are covered by civil liability insurance, and all employees are insured against accidents and occupational diseases.

All Group employees must undergo initial and subsequent regular medical examinations and receive personal protective equipment. Those exposed to hazardous working environments are provided with healthy meals.

To improve the skills of its occupational health and safety personnel and to reduce occupational injuries and accidents, the Group provides training in safe working practices, focusing particularly on strengthening work discipline. Occupational, industrial, fire and environmental safety personnel regularly conduct comprehensive, targeted and unscheduled inspections. In 2025, 10,001 people received relevant training.
