Over 2,000 employees and their children to visit Acron’s recreation centres this summer

The summer season has started at Acron’s recreation centres. Providing recreational programmes for employees is one of our social policy priorities. This year, around 900 children aged 7 to 16 will attend the Raduga camp during five sessions, and more than 1,200 Acron’s employees and their children aged 3 to 17 will visit the Aurora leisure centre in nine sessions as part of the Mother and Child programme.

Traditionally, Acron offers its employees a holiday package at a reduced rate. According to the Social Affairs Department, this year’s prices are RUB 60,000 for a 16-day session at Raduga and RUB 24,000 for a nine-day Mother and Child programme, but employees pay only 20%, or RUB 12,000, and 30%, or RUB 7,200, respectively.

Raduga is located in the Valdai National Park, on the shore of Lake Beloye. This year marks the camp’s 55th anniversary, and the Raduga team has prepared a variety of activities under the motto It’s more exciting when we are together. The holiday programme includes entertainment, hobby groups, sports events, and arts and science workshops. The camp offers comfortable accommodation and facilities, as well as five balanced meals a day. Throughout the summer, professional coordinators will run sports, arts, singing and dancing activities for children.

Every year, Acron invests significant funds in recreational services for its employees and their children. In preparation for the summer season, the Company has repaired five houses and kitchen facilities, and purchased new furniture and equipment at Raduga. Four new, comfortable cottages have been built at Aurora, which is located on the banks of the Msta River, 40 km from Veliky Novgorod. Each cottage features two bedrooms, a spacious living room, an outdoor terrace, a bathroom and a kitchen and dining area with floor-to-ceiling windows. All facilities and areas at the recreation centre are accessible to children with disabilities.

‘Thanks to the recent upgrades, our recreation centres can now accommodate more children and provide all the necessary facilities for outdoor sports and leisure activities’, said Elena Vodova, head of Acron’s Social Affairs Department. ‘From our experience, we know that children enjoy learning new things, even during the summer holidays. That is why we hold various workshops to give them an insight into production processes and encourage loyalty to the Company. We hope that many of them will follow in their parents' footsteps and choose a career at Acron’.
