Acron’s senior managers have visited Veliky Novgorod and reviewed the current stage of the project to renovate and equip the Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital. At the medical facility, Vladimir Kantor, Acron Vice President, met with Alexander Dronov, First Deputy Governor of Novgorod region.
In 2024, Acron has invested RUB 70 million in the projects to overhaul and equip the children’s oncology and haematology ward and the children’s rehabilitation ward at the Hospital. The Company has also spent over RUB 5 million to purchase an endoscopy video system for the otorhinolaryngology ward.
The children’s oncology and haematology ward welcomed its first patients in September this year. Acron has provided RUB 28 million for the design, overhaul and minor renovation of the ward, as well as for the purchase of equipment and furniture.

As the region’s major employer, Acron is committed to supporting such projects. By opening the children’s oncology and haematology ward, we have taken a big step towards providing effective and comprehensive care to young residents of Veliky Novgorod’.
Alevtina Ryzhova, Chief Physician at the Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital, said, ‘Until recently, the children in Veliky Novgorod had to travel to federal hospitals to receive treatment, which was certainly difficult and inconvenient. Acron’s financial support has helped us open the oncology and haematology ward in Veliky Novgorod. The ward is isolated on the ground floor of a separate building on the Hospital’s premises, which is a crucial condition for effective care of cancer patients’.
Over the past three years, Acron has invested RUB 144 million in overhauling the Hospital’s fourth medical ward and surgical and otorhinolaryngology wards, purchasing an MRI scanner, installing two new lifts, landscaping the surrounding area, fitting out a car park and furnishing access roads to the reception area, emergency room, and central entrance.
In 2024, AK&M Rating Agency has upgraded Acron Group’s non-financial reporting rating to Resg1, the highest level of sustainable development reporting. The Group has also made it to the top of the Socially Responsible Companies rating. In 2023, the Group invested RUB 3.1 billion in sustainable development. The Group also allocated approximately RUB 1 billion to social projects, up 13% year-on-year, and focused on improving the life in its footprint regions, spending around RUB 800 million on infrastructure, up 38% year-on-year.
