Acron Group has completed a large-scale reconstruction of its hotel and announced the opening of a new premium Acron Hotel Veliky Novgorod in partnership with Radisson Hotel Group and ZONT Hotel Group managing company.
The five-star Acron Hotel Veliky Novgorod, a member of Radisson Individuals (Radisson Hotel Group), is located in the historic centre of the city. After an extensive renovation, the hotel now meets the world’s highest standards. Acron Group invested more than RUB 2 billion in this project.
‘We are very proud of the results achieved. Our greatest pride is not the five-star hotel, but the 100 jobs created and the opportunity to cooperate with the Novgorod region business community. This is a fundamental principle for us. It is also a completely new standard in terms of quality, comfort and design. We have been working on this project for a very long time, and I hope that visitors and residents of the city will enjoy it’, emphasised Acron’s Vice President Vladimir Kantor.
The Governor of Novgorod region Andrey Nikitin expressed his deep gratitude to Acron Group for this project: ‘This is the first five-star hotel in our city, which gives us a competitive advantage in the tourism industry and makes Novgorod region more attractive to investors. Most importantly, it provides new jobs, sets the new standards in the hospitality industry and creates new opportunities for the local business community to interact with Acron Group. I hope that all guests will feel comfortable here’.
The hotel offers 50 rooms of seven types, from standard rooms to a presidential suite, and an on-site fitness and wellness centre with an indoor swimming pool. The Burmistrov Group’s Proun, a haute cuisine restaurant with stunning panoramic views, is located on the top floor.
Acron Hotel Veliky Novgorod is within walking distance of the city’s landmarks, including the Kremlin, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Drama Theatre. It is conveniently located near the railway station and the pier for boat tours along the scenic banks of the Volkhov River.
Violetta Romero de Torres, Managing Director of Radisson Hotel Group Russia, said, ‘The opening of Acron Hotel Veliky Novgorod, a member of Radisson Individuals, marks a new era of luxury and hospitality in the very heart of Veliky Novgorod’.
Alexander Gendelsman, co-owner and managing partner of ZONT Hotel Group, added, ‘Today’s city hotels should be a place where both tourists and locals can enjoy their time. The recreation facilities of Acron Hotel Veliky Novgorod are available to all visitors, even if they are not the guests of the hotel’.
