AK&M Rating Agency has upgraded Acron Group’s non-financial (ESG) reporting rating to Resg1, the highest level of information disclosure on sustainable development.
This is the second year that the Group has published a separate ESG report, providing detailed information on environmental and social matters, occupational safety and corporate culture.
The Agency particularly praised the Group’s disclosure of information on social issues. In the reporting year, the Group worked closely with schools in order to attract young specialists to its production facilities and focused on infrastructure development to improve the life in its footprint regions and on occupational health and safety. The ESG report details all documents governing the Group’s activities in these areas, as well as the measures taken by the Group and their results. Analysts can also see the publicly available tables with dynamic performance data on all sustainable development efforts.
AK&M launched its ESG Report Rating in 2020 to share with the professional community the best practices for disclosing companies’ social and environmental policies. The Agency uses a list of 96 items to analyse the completeness and availability of the sustainable development information. The list of rated companies is formed based on 300 industrial, energy, transport and trading companies with the highest revenue.
Recently, Acron Group has been ranked among the top 5 chemical companies in the Social Performance of the Largest Companies rating and has made it to the top of the Socially Responsible Companies rating.
