Acron has started the summer season at its recreation centres. The summer holiday programme for children is an integral part of the company's social policy. This year, almost 800 children aged 7 to 16 will attend the Raduga camp during four sessions, and more than 1,200 Acron employees and their children aged 3 to 17 will visit the Aurora leisure centre in nine sessions as part of the Mother and Child programme.
Traditionally, the company pays up to 80% of the camp fee for its employees under the collective agreement. According to Acron’s Social Affairs Department, this year’s prices are RUB 55,000 for a session at Raduga and RUB 23,400 for the nine-day Mother and Child programme, but employees pay only 20%, or RUB 11,000, and 30%, or RUB 7,020, respectively.
‘The summer health campaign is one of the most important parts of our social programme and has always been very popular with employees. Our camps offer the best conditions for recreation: excellent infrastructure and high-quality, nutritious food. In addition, the teachers are planning various activities to develop communication, artistic and leadership skills’, said Andrey Morozov, head of Acron’s Social Affairs Department.
Raduga is located in the Valdai National Park, on the shore of Lake Beloye. Covering an area of 16 hectares, it is the largest summer camp for children in the region. This year, Raduga has opened its 53rd season dedicated to the Year of the Family. Aurora is located on the banks of the Msta River, 40 km from Veliky Novgorod. Acron regularly upgrades Aurora’s infrastructure, and provides activity coordinators specialising in sports, art, singing and dance to work with the children throughout the summer.
