On 24 and 25 November, Acron Group held Career Day for students of relevant departments at Saint Petersburg Mining University to provide them with career guidance and information about current vacancies at the Group companies.
The event was attended by future mine surveyors, electrical engineers and mineral processing specialists.
Recruiters at North-Western Phosphorous Company, an Acron Group company, spoke about advantages of working for the Company, available vacancies, working environment, and social benefits, and students had a chance to discuss employment and apprenticeship opportunities.
Head of Acron IT Department Denis Guzanov presented the Group’s digital transformation programme. He spoke about process digitalisation, the IT strategy and new digital projects.
NWPC deputy CEO for general issues Andrey Ril believes career guidance events to be the first career step for many students. ‘Meetings with a potential employer allow students to better understand business processes and employment requirements’, he said.
