Acron Group Signs Domestic Supply Agreements for 2020

Acron Group has signed fertiliser supply agreements with Bryansk, Orel and Novgorod regional departments of agriculture for the next year. The agreements, under which the Group will supply over 100,000 tonnes of ammonium nitrate and NPK, came together at the Golden Autumn Russian agro-industry trade show.

Chairman of Acron’s Board of Directors Alexander Popov commented: “Cooperation with Russian customers is Acron Group’s top priority. We sign agreements with regional departments of agriculture every year, which allows us to plan shipments and meet domestic farmers’ growing demand for our products. I am confident that our successful partnership with Russian regional agricultural producers will continue in the future”.
Over the first nine months of 2019, Acron Group shipped over 640,000 tonnes of mineral fertilisers to the Russian market. Ammonium nitrate and NPK fertilisers remain the most popular products with Russian growers. During this period, the Group’s shipments of ammonium nitrate to local customers increased 16%.

Acron’s Agronova distribution network was established in 2005 and has 10 specialised agrochemical enterprises with direct access to consumers in Russia’s major agricultural regions. Agronova’s units provide mineral fertiliser delivery, sales and storage services, with total storage capacity of 189,000 tonnes.
