Acron Group to Supply at Least 1 Million Tonnes of Mineral Fertilisers to Russian Farmers in 2015

Acron Group has signed its first six agreements with regional agriculture departments for mineral fertiliser supplies in 2015. The agreements were signed with Novgorod, Smolensk, Orel, Pskov, Bryansk and Lipetsk regions. The process of executing similar agreements with other Russian federal subjects is underway. In total, Russian farmers will receive approximately 700,000 tonnes of ammonium nitrate and 400,000 tonnes of NPK.

Acron Group has already delivered over 250,000 tonnes of fertilisers for the 2015 spring sowing season. Each year, the Group receives dozens of letters of appreciation from Russian farmers for delivering fertiliser supplies on time and in full.

Acron Group is discounting prices for its Russian consumers by at least 15-20% in order to support 2015 spring sowing. The Group updates the mineral fertiliser price list for Russian agricultural producers on its official website on a monthly basis.

Chairman of the Acron Board of Directors Alexander Popov comments:

“Supplying mineral fertilisers to Russian farmers is the highest priority for Acron Group. We are interested in considering and satisfying all requests for mineral fertilisers. We estimate that the peak supply period on the domestic market will be between February and May 2015. The total volume of fertilisers supplied to Russian farmers this year could exceed 1 million tonnes, which would be our all-time record.

“Considering the current economic situation, we have decided to support Russian agricultural producers. We hope that this will help maintain fertiliser application levels and ensure high yields.”
