Oleniy Ruchey Mine Starts Apatite Concentrate Shipments

The first 250-tonne batch of the apatite concentrate produced at the Oleniy Ruchey facility has arrived at Acron’s production site. At this stage, the apatite concentrate is shipped as a part of the start-up operations. In December 2012, North-Western Phosphorous Company has produced already over eight thousand tonnes of the concentrate in total.

Acron Board of Directors Chair Alexander Popov comments: “Acron Group is entering a new level of development: our facilities start manufacturing NPK fertiliser from our own phosphate input. The Company has been heading towards that point for six years, making dramatic efforts and investing heavily in that strategic project. We plan to satisfy Acron’s and Dorogobuzh’s needs for phosphates as early as H1 2013.”
