Acron Group Spends 20% More on Occupational and Industrial Safety

Acron Group makes significant annual investments in occupational and industrial safety measures, which totalled RUB 845 million in 2022, an increase of 21% over the previous year.

In 2022, the Group’s occupational and industrial safety efforts focused on testing the equipment and raw materials used in the production process. Steps were also taken to improve working conditions, protect the lives and health of employees, reduce the number of industrial injuries and diseases, and manage occupational risks through preventive measures. As a result, there were no fatalities related to the Group's operations in 2022.

The Group is committed to preventing emergencies at its production facilities and constantly monitors the development of emergency containment and recovery measures. All its hazardous production facilities are covered by public liability insurance, and all employees are insured against accidents and occupational diseases.

All the employees must undergo initial and regular medical examinations and receive personal protective equipment, and those exposed to a hazardous working environment are provided with healthy meals.

The Group provides its employees with training in safe working practices with a particular focus on improving work discipline, which is designed to build up the professional expertise of the employees responsible for occupational and industrial safety and to reduce the number of occupational injuries and emergencies at the Group's production sites. Occupational, industrial, fire and environmental safety personnel regularly carry out comprehensive targeted and unscheduled inspections.
