Acron Group Increases Investments in Social Programmes for Employees by Almost 50%

In 2022, Acron Group allocated approximately RUB 900 million (up almost 50% year-on-year) for programmes aimed at employee development, motivation, and social support.

The Group is a responsible employer. Social support for employees is a key element of its sustainable development policy, which includes preventive healthcare, medical services, and insurance; professional training and career growth; sports and healthy lifestyles; engagement and retention of highly skilled employees; cooperation with educational institutions; and goal-oriented social programmes.

All Acron Group facilities have collective agreements in place designed to improve the quality of life for employees and their families with an extended package of social benefits and guarantees.

Acron Group provides employees and their children with the opportunity to receive treatment at health resorts and recreation camps on discounted terms and pays part of the attending cost. In 2022, the Group allocated RUB 95 million for this purpose, spent RUB 118 million on the voluntary health insurance, and invested RUB 82 million in healthy meals for employees.

Additionally, the Group reimburses its employees for relocation expenses and rental housing, and provides them with the corporate housing.

The Group organises sporting events that are popular with employees, including at its sports and wellness facilities. More than 3,000 Acron employees participate in these events each year.

The Group adapts its training system designed to advance employees’ professional skills in accordance with the needs and specifics of its operations. In 2022, over 3,000 employees completed advanced training courses and more than 800 employees passed re-training programmes. The Group also involves students from schools, colleges and universities in its educational efforts. In 2022, Acron’s investments in employees’ training and development totalled approximately RUB 40 million.

Around 12,000 employees work at the Group's production facilities. Over the past few years, staffing has remained stable and met the Group’s needs. Positive working conditions, attractive social packages, and social involvement keep the staff turnover rate at 4.8%. The average monthly salary at the Group’s production facilities exceeds average wages for Russia’s chemical industry and is higher than the average salary in its footprint regions. In 2022, the Group adjusted the salaries of all employees at its member companies 11%, and SuperJob.ru named it an attractive employer.
