Acron will be offering mentorships and training for students at Novgorod State University (NovSU) as part of a project that was selected by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia.
The partnership will give NovSU students access to industry professionals and enhance the Company’s ability to fill vacancies with students who already have experience with the Company. Novgorod’s top engineering school expects to train 2,500 engineers by 2030.
'This project will focus on training engineers and developing production and import substitution across a range of areas’, said Novgorod Region Governor Andrey Nikitin. ‘I want to thank Acron for its sustained commitment to ambitious educational projects over the years.'
Acron’s partnership with NovSU was facilitated by Leading Engineering School, a federal project launched in 2022 with the goal of training qualified engineers for high-tech sectors of economy. Leading Engineering School is part of a government programme to promote scientific and technological development in the Russian Federation.
