Dorogobuzh Ranked as Best Chemical Production Facility in Smolensk Region

For the second consecutive year, Public Joint Stock Company Dorogobuzh (Acron Group) was named first among Smolensk region’s chemical production companies in the chemical production complex category.

On 22 January 2020, Smolensk region governor Alexey Ostrovsky presented the regional award to Dorogobuzh Deputy CEO Marat Sabirov.

Fifty-eight Smolensk region-based companies were rated, and eighteen industrial companies won prizes. This is the regional contest’s eighth year, and each year Dorogobuzh has been consistently rated as one of the top three chemical production leaders in the region. Companies are rated based on information provided by the Smolensk region office of the Federal Government Statistics Service.

In his address at the ceremony, Ostrovsky said: “The number of companies seeking a competent expert assessment of their businesses is increasing every year, and their products are distinguished by their high quality and competitiveness. I am particularly pleased to say that today, the Smolensk industrial complex is represented not only by large-scale companies, known both in Russia and abroad, but also by fast-growing small and medium-sized businesses. We are mainly focused on export, which is a key priority for the economic development of the Russian Federation.”
