Acron’s Raduga Recreation Camp for Children Gets New Athletic Fields

In 2018, over 600 children of Acron employees will attend Raduga

Three new athletic fields with premium class cover were installed at Acron’s Raduga recreation centre, making it safer and more fun to play football, volleyball and basketball and hold sports events at the camp.

The new fields feature the latest artificial turf and equipment to minimise the risk of injuries and promote enjoyment. The volleyball court was updated with special-purpose quartz sand that prevents flat feet.

The new fields were formally opened by Head of Acron’s Social and Administrative Support Department Sergey Busurin, Raduga Director Sofia Pavlova and the youngest attendee at the first session, six-year-old Masha Krivtsova. A master class organised by instructors from Acron’s sports centre was attended by children from the first session and Raduga teaching staff. In future, the camp will invite representatives from Novgorod sports federations to hold events on the new fields.

Acron’s Sergey Busurin comments on the event: “Social responsibility puts people first. We know that people perform at their best when they have time to take a break and recharge. The Company intentionally invests in healthy recreation opportunities for our employees. Our first priority is healthy chemists and their families”.

This summer, four 18-day sessions at Raduga will be attended by over 600 children of Acron Group employees. The theme for the season is patriotic: We live in Russia.

Raduga recreation centre was opened in 1971 and is located in Valdaysky National Park (Novgorod region) on the shore of Lake Beloye.
