State Commission on Mineral Reserves (GKZ) Approves Updated Reserves for Oleniy Ruchey Deposit

The Russian State Commission on Mineral Reserves (GKZ) approved the results of a supplementary exploration carried out by North-Western Phosphorous Company in 2008–2011 at the Oleniy Ruchey deposit. Total reserves of apatite and nepheline ores (В+С12) increased 5% as a result of the revaluation. The most significant upward revision was recorded in the open pit operations, where ore reserves were increased 75%. That will considerably extend the life of the open pit (the first stage of the Oleniy Ruchey mine), which now can be developed for at least 14 years.
