Acron Group Held Press Conference on Fair Work Programme in Moscow

On November 16, Acron Group held a press conference on its Fair Work programme.

The press conference was attended by JSC Acron President Vladimir Kunitsky, JSC Acron Vice President for Human Resources and Special Projects Irina Raber, JSC Acron Executive Director Vladimir Gavrikov, Chairman of JSC Acron’s primary trade union Alexander Malushin, head of JSC Acron urea shop section Alexey Lebedev and JSC Dorogobuzh Human Resources Manager Svetlana Stolbovskaya.

Acron Group adopted the Fair Work programme to define its social support, environmental and community relations policies. Primarily the Fair Work programme is focused on developing a fundamentally new system of relationships with employees and protecting their rights and interests.

JSC Acron President Vladimir Kunitsky spoke about the Group’s investment programme and emphasised that “all investments are in vain if the company lacks professional and strongly motivated staff.” He also stated that comprehensive implementation of the Fair Work programme is time-intensive and involves considerable funding.

JSC Acron Executive Director Vladimir Gavrikov informed the audience that the Fair Work programme is both a product of the Company’s social efforts and a plan for the future. “This is an integrated programme which is not about individual measures. The programme is not purely declarative, and its fulfilment may easily be verified due to the Company’s transparency policy,” he noted.

JSC Dorogobuzh Human Resources Manager Svetlana Stolbovskaya said that the Company is actively promoting its social policy, and emphasized that the Fair Work programme will provide for the purchase of new equipment for the company’s medical centre, help increase funding for the Cultural Centre and youth ensembles, and expand health and recreation programmes for employees.

Chairman of JSC Acron’s primary trade union Alexander Malushin stated that the trade union is active in implementing the Fair Work programme. According to Malushin “the programme’s objective is to create conditions where an employee feels the employer’s support, is confident about the future and happy to come to work.”

Head of the urea shop section Alexey Lebedev told the audience about a comprehensive programme to attract and support young specialists that ranges from career guidance for school students to providing accommodation to non-resident employees and subsidising mortgage loans.

Summing up the results of the press conference, Irina Raber noted: “Our task is to build up an effective system of professional and additional training and career development in order to provide talented young people with opportunities for new knowledge, growth and development within Acron Group. This is the key driving force of the Company’s success.”
